Learning is an intrinsic cornerstone of the human experience. Far beyond the limits of any one formal setting, we as individuals spend much of our time untangling old ideas that hold us back or harm us and pour ourselves into new practices and perspectives. As the world around us continues to shift and change, we are led to evolve our thinking and reimagine our place within it.
If you are curious about questioning what you know and exploring what you don’t, you’ve come to the right place. I am here to support your personal journey as a perpetual student in whatever manner works best for you. Below are the two primary educational services I offer. Syllabus Construction
One of the delightful things about living in the Information Age is that we can access just about any piece of knowledge that has ever existed and use it to expand our horizons. The downside is that it can be incredibly overwhelming to figure out where to start, not to mention which sources are both accessible and credible. That's where I come in!
With Syllabus Construction, you tell me what subject you'd like to educate yourself on, as well as what forms of media are most conducive to your learning style (articles, podcasts, videos, etc.). Then, I create a specially curated list of resources to help you to learn about that subject.
If you're a more autonomous learner looking to educate yourself on your own time, then I would suggest you choose this option.
Concept Breakdown
No matter how open-minded and forward-thinking we try to be, every person has those ideas that are difficult for them to wrap their heads around on their own, either intellectually or emotionally. What's more, it can be intimidating to voice that confusion in group settings, whether in person or online.
Concept Breakdown allows us to meet over video chat and hash out the issue that's on your mind. I'm here to create a private and judgment-free setting for your exploratory process. This service is built to encourage you to ask what you actually want and need to know; there’s no such thing as a stupid question!
If you prefer to learn through hands-on engagement that is supported by a facilitator in a more time-bound manner, I’d recommend this option for you.
